The sun was shining on the team during their Beach Clean last week.
It was great to get the whole team together to comb the sands of Weston-Super-Mare and collect rubbish from the seafront. Many socks (never a pair!), a shirt, and a solitary flip-flop added some excitement to the mountain of bottle tops, and tiny bits of plastic the team collected.. Next time we’ll run a beach clean sweepstake!
We even had the youngest member of the team join us… but the more cynical members of the team would say he was only there for the strawberry ice-cream treat at the end!
Castlemead believe that businesses have an important role in protecting and preserving the environment, supporting our local communities and encouraging our team to take on volunteering opportunities. This is just one of the activities planned for this year, and we can’t wait to share our plan over the coming months.
